In recent times, people have begun seeking a substitute for their spiritual matters as today’s many religions create an environment in which a spiritual seeker’s simple question can get lost in the midst of many answers. Among these seekers are those that have found their place in the Yoruba religion, and for those inexperienced as well as experienced with the ways of the religion the following is meant to offer additional insight.

The Yoruba religion has begun to expand across the Western world as well as across it’s native Africa. There is a large followership of the religion in the Carribean and South America in particular, as people from Africa who were brought to these places over the centuries have taught the knowledge and traditions of the religion to their descendants.
